Thought 4the day: Quirks we all have them.. Life would be boring without! Now horses and ponies have their own quirks too its what gives them their own personality! Yes some may not be desired quirks and would have to be addressed but some are harmless and just plain funny!! Henry loves to throw his feed bucket out his door when done! Thought 4the day: Sometimes in life things are sent to test us and its how we deal with them and handle as well as deal with the situation that counts. We had a horrendous morning yesterday but had to pull ourselves together for the horses that are in our care as well as going to collect a gentle giant. Life can be very harsh and even underhanded at times but the ones that stay true and honest all day long are our four legged friends. They listen and understand, they never turn you away, they do not judge and as long as you respect and love them they will always do the same back.

Thought 4the day: Just lately i have been watching and assessing people to see how (from afar may i add lol) they interact on the ground with horses and ponies and to how they horse reacts when they get on. One example is we have a horse in called Danny who is sensitive to peoples moods when on and can become very alert if their nervous. I allowed a volunteer to sit on him a few months back to the... point that danny got very nervous so i took him off and worked and assisted him with the horses just on the ground.
